The 49-piece box
The starting point in 2011. Pieces connect through their colours on a virtual grid of 25 or 49 spaces.
United Square
In 2011, United Square began with a box of 49 pieces. Four coloured triangles went on to inspire other forms of play, through to POSTER and on-screen experiences.

United Square
Match colours, observe shapes and find the next arrangement. This principle runs through United Square’s variations. The four tiles here simply invite you to compose a free pattern.
A pattern of your own
Tap a tile or use Enter / Space to turn it a quarter turn.
Small markers show where colors meet. A free composition, with no score.

One language of colours, different objects and gestures. The puzzle cube precedes Cube².

The gesture · Turn
The graphic language expands into three dimensions. This invention predates Cube².

The gesture · Assemble
One box, 25 tiles and no board. Cube² invites you to place the pieces wherever you like and connect them through their colours.

The gesture · Place
The tiles find a board. A frame for exploring arrangements and recomposing the same language of colours.

The gesture · Take on a challenge
Magnetic tiles and challenge cards invite you to find a composition, then try another.

The gesture · Display
With POSTER, a game can give way to an image on display. The HUB brings this language to the screen.
Behind the scenes in shops, the display stand presents the collection.
The tiles return to the table for a game. Observe, assemble, rearrange: play remains the starting point.

With POSTER, the composition can also be enjoyed on a wall or an easel. Another use within the same universe.

The HUB brings together United Square’s digital experiences. Available activities are presented at their destination.

The first box contains 49 pieces. The puzzle cube was invented before Cube², a 25-tile version without a board. Plateau Puzzle then adds a board; POSTER later opens up a new use for display.
